I would have those pictures up by now if I could get my laptop to upload them!!for whatever reason it wont do anything when I put the memory card in...=( Mom has been busy on the other computer.I didn't get that many pictures anyway,ten maybe,because my camera batteries started dieing...frown again lol.Everything seemed to be going wrong yesterday! We couldn't keep the house clean to save our lives,and everything was just chaotic.

Baby Eli has been very squirmy lately,and that makes it kind of hard for Mom to get up and do a lot.Actually,squirmy probably isn't a very good word for this little boy!!Big kicks and punches and "head spins" as Mom calls them =).

Mom has been reading the Moody books to the Faith,Stephanie and Rebekah for the past few days.They seem to be enjoying them! I read them a few years ago,and loved it.

My sisters have a group of friends in the neighborhood,and they spend every moment possible with them.We love all the NK's,(neighborhood kids lol) they are complete sweet hearts,but it seems like when all the kids are with them for a long time,and they come home,they don't want to do a single thing that me mom or dad ask them to do =(.Some of the things their friends do aren't necessarily what my Mom wants her kids doing,and when they are with their friends all day,they seem to pick up those habits.So,we have been taking a break.A whole month or so for just family time!=) It sounds pretty good to me,but not to the kids.Their friends will come tot he door and ask ,"Can Faith and Steph play?" the kids get very whiney.So we have talked to their friends parents,and they have agreed to talk to their kids and ask them to not come over.This might seem strange,but sometimes it just gets to be to much!

Mom has decided to try an experiment.When or if the younger kids are disobedient,she will write their names down on a slip of paper,go out in the backyard,and dig a small hole,then put the paper in it.After a few days,she'll dig it back up and show the kids what happened.It will have rotted!Just like the Bible says.Who knows,maybe this will work!!=)

Closer and closer!

Mommy's due-date is on September 12th....closer and closer!!=) We are extremely excited about this new baby boy...I will try to get some pictures of his room over the next few days.It's monkey themed ;) He has practically all the clothes that he's going to need,because a friend of ours had a baby boy,very early,and ended up giving us all the clothes he didn't wear!

Today I am going to get some pictures of my sisters,and they should be on here tonight =) I haven't been using my camera at all,and it's about time I got back to it.

Mom has been working with the little ones on obedience.Things have been very,VERY crazy around here,mostly from the disobedience around here.She is teaching them,

Ephesians 6:1 Children,obey you parents in the Lord:for this is right.

It will take a while,but hopefully things will be peaceful,or atleast back to normal LOL =)

Busy busy busy

Everybody is very impatient for this baby to get here!=) Seriously,if you hadn't had a tiny little baby boy around for ten years,wouldn't you be ecstatic?

Mom went for her doctors appointment last week,and little Elijah David is ten ounces.She says that sounds like he's going to be kind of small,but who knows.

We want to have a monkey theme for the baby room,and Mom's cousin Summer bought her a new crib =).

Aside from the baby,we've been doing lots of other stuff too.A few days ago we made some butter,but we're not sure if it came out right because it was really fluffy...?Lol
The day before yesterday we cleaned out the attic,and half of the stuff up there wasn't even ours!It was stuff that other people left here that lived here before us.And apparently they had an obsession for full length mirrors,because there were like six of them up there! Freaky

Sarah has been getting into trouble more than usual the past few days.All of a sudden all she wants to do is climb onto a chair and then onto the kitchen table,no matter how many times you take her down...it's getting kind of old lol.

I could go on and on,but it would take me hours.=)

We are all very ecstatic to find out this baby is....A BOY! I just squealed and squealed when mom told me...lol. I was with my aunt at walmart when she called,so we decided to buy the little ray of sunshine his first out-fit =)

Again,the name will be Elijah David...it's just so awesome to know that I'm going to have another brother come September!

We went to a restaurant called Cookout last night,and it was the first time we have ever tried it.We were in the middle of eating it,when Blaine realized they have scripture verses on their bags!

We were pretty surprised,because you usually just don't see stuff like that,and I thought it was pretty cool =).

Catching up

Hmmmm...did she fall off the face of the earth?!=D I have been gone for a while haven't I?

Just to catch up a little bit....

Sarah has started walking!She looks adorable because she does this march/stomp thing when she's excited =)We bought her her first pair of shoes a few weeks ago,she had to get wides =D

I got another cold...*sigh* I'm starting to think its allergys.But it's just about gone,I just have a little bit of the sniffles still.Let's hope and pray that this stops!

Mom is still dealing with the morning sickness,and we are extremely anxious to find out what the gender is =) We have been very busy around here,because we took that blasted televison...wow I sound british... out of the living room and put it in our parents room.Then we took the computer and desk out of the computer room and put that in our parents room too,and now the computer room is going to be Sarah's and the new babys room =)We have yet to take the crib apart and put it in there.

We may be starting a garden this spring...even though we have no idea how to do any of that stuff!But I am still excited =)

And last but not least,Faith lost her first tooth today!It was hanging by a thread for about two days,and finally we made her pull it lol.

Blaine turned 16 today!We had cake and ice cream last night,because our cousins left this morning.He is the best brother ever!!He is going to get contacts with some of his birthday money =) Mom and Dad are very proud of him,he is very responsible,kind and funny.We love you Blaine!

Small Injuries and Surprise Visits

Today,mom was in the middle of trying to do Spell to Write and Read with Faith,and the baby decided to pull an empty soup can out of the trash,and cut her finger really bad...dad insisted that she needed stitches.Mom told me that I was going to have to hold the towel on the babys hand while she changed her diaper.I looked at her finger,(which was bleeding even worse now that she was crying)and my stomach flopped.I can't stand blood =(But mom said I was going to have to get used to it if I was going to have any kids when I grew up.

So I held the towel there,and on the way to urgent care I had to hold it.When I realized I had blood on my thumb my stomach flopped again...ick.Anyway,we got to urgent care,and the doctor said that he couldn't stitch it,and if he tried to glue it,it wouldn't stick because it wouldn't stop bleeding(she wouldn't stop crying!)so they said they would just clean it up and they put some strip thingys on it,then put a band aid,then wrapped it in gause and tied it down around her wrist.They were awesome,they didn't even ask for imformation,didn't charge us,just let us go.Mom said that's how all doctors should be,thinking about the patient instead of the dollar ;)

Now about the surprise visit...we were eating dinner,and my mom's cousin Summer called.She asked what we were doing,and mom said we were in the middle of eating dinner.

"What are you having?"
"Subs"
"Sounds good,do you think there's enough for us?"
"Summer where are you?!"
"Outside."

Of course we ran out to see her,and she had her sister Lindsay with her,and their her kids.We had been bugging them to come down for months,and we should have known she was going to do something like this =)

Just a little update,and by the way,mom's morning sickness has started,but she says that means everythings going good with the baby.Very excited about this little one,still hoping for a boy!

8th Little Blessing

I am very proud to announce,that we are expecting another little blessing in September!We are all very excited,and we are hoping for a boy....it has been four girls in a row lol =).But a little sister would be fine too.

I know that my siblings can be a little,well,over the top sometimes,but I am ecstatic over this little one.We all are!And,mom has been thinking about a home birth.She hasn't done one before,but she was thinking about one with Sarah.She knows a mid wife that she met when she was pregnant with her,and she still has her phone number,but we will just have to wait and see....we don't really need to worry about that yet =)

We have a baby name picked out if it's a boy,Elijah David.=) Isn't it like,the best name ever?!I love it =)

And,the best part if you ask me,is that it is more likely for mommy to have twins!

Because she was breast feeding when she found out she was pregnant
Because she is...well I can't remember what it's called,lol,but because she is a certain age, she is more likely to have more than one baby.

Recipe Suggestion: Sweet Pumpkin Bread!

Here is the recipe we use for pumpkin bread....it's awesome!=)

2 and a half cups of flour
2 and a half cups of sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
2 teaspoons of baking soda
4 eggs,slightly beaten
1 cup of vegetable oil
1 half a cup of water
1 (15 ounce)can of pumpkin puree
1 cup of choppen pecans (we never put the pecans in it,but i'm sure it's still good that way)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.In a bowl,combine flour,sugar,salt,cinnamon,nutmeg,and baking soda.In a separate bowl,blend eggs,oil,and water.Add egg mixture to the flour mixture.Stir in pumpkin until well blended.Add pecans.Pour batter into two greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pans.Bake 45 minutes to one hour or until tester comes out clean and edges pull away from sides of pan.Cool 10 minutes in pan.Turn out onto wire rack to cool completely.

And then it's done!=)Yummy huh?

Why is it,that lately everything I touch breaks,burns,or turns into a disaster?Why,why,why?!Ya,I've always been kind of clumsy,but it has been terrible lately!And it has put me in a bad mood too,and I wish it would just stop =(

Am I the only one that has a problem with this?Sometimes it seems like it!

Maybe getting some of it out will help me get out of my bad mood =)

Well,you all know about the microwave disaster!
Today,I was out on the back porch and didnt know it was icy,and fell flat on my face,and scraped my knee really bad.

I have broken at least three dishes in the past couple days.

I was trying to give Rebekah her soup for dinner,and spilled some of it on my hands,(it was really hot!)and then dropped the bowl on the floor,breaking it,and getting soup everywhere.

I stub my toes on everything I walk past

I trip on absolutely thin air,(or my long tiered skirts =)

I do feel a little better now!It was nice to get it out

Microwave disasters

Last night we were having kind of a fend-for-yourself night for dinner,and my little brother wanted some chicken strips.I put them in the microwave for two minutes,and then stood at the counter reading my book Pajama School.It's really good actually,I love it so far!=).

Anyway,I smelled something all of a sudden,and started looking around the kitchen.At first I thought it was my hotdog that I had on the stove,but then I looked over at the microwave,and there was smoke just pouring out of it!!Usually I'm not a screamer,but I screamed anyway,and said "Dad,Dad!!"I opened up microwave,then the window to let some of the smoke out.He came running out to look,and so did Blaine."My gosh Kaity,how long were they in there?!"
"Only for two minutes!"
"Well then there must be something wrong with the microwave,don't use it anymore."
Then we all started laughing!Well,everyone except for Joey,who was only worried about his chicken strips!!I woke up this morning to still smell the smell of burnt chicken strips

Isn't that funny?!

Chilly weather!

It is only supposed to be 45 for a high today!I just love the cold weather =)Don't you?I love to get outside with Joey Faith and Stephy,and just stay out there all day and play.I am really motivated this morning,I'm not sure why.....weird I'm not usually motivated like this lol.

Mom just left to take Joey to his therapy appointment...I can't remember if he has speech or O.T today!Anyway,I need to go get in the shower and get some school work started =) Get my little sisters ready for the day.God bless,and have a wonderful day!!

What are the rules at your house?I am going to make a list of the rules that we have =).

No TV until 7 at night until eight.
If mom or dad tells you no,you can't ask why,lol =)
If you make a mess,you clean it up
If your going to do something,do it the right way,or don't do it at all
Snack is one between breakfast,and one before lunch
No hitting
Put you shoes IN THE SHOE HOLDER!Most of us have a hard time remembering that one ;)
You should'nt have to be told to do something more than once.

If you see a mess somewhere,(even if you didn't make it)do what you can to clean it up =)

That isn't all the rules,just some of them =) Again,what are the rules at your house??

Just got back!

We decided to have Thanksgiving with my uncle and some cousins this year,and we just got back a couple of hours ago.Didn't have much time to do my little dress challenge thing lol.I thought that it would be fun at first,but I decided that it's not all that great =D Just my opinion.

Anyway,we had lots of fun while we were there,we have some pretty crazy relatives,and you never know what's going to happen when we get together!My uncle is thinking about having a big Dorr Family Reunion....I say "big" because my dad was one of 10 kids,and if they all get together,and then all their kids,can you imagine??He wants some of us to pitch in so we can rent some place on the beach,and they are planning for March or April.Wanna know whats funny?My dad was one of 10,and my mom was an only child =D

I feel so much better now that I have been blogging a little more lately,even though its not as much as I would like.

Again,what would you like me to write?I have pretty much no ideas,so if there are some things you would like me to post about,just leave a comment somewhere =)

Way to go Blaine!

My brother has been taking drivers ed. classes for a few weeks,(homeschoolers can do it for free at the high school close to us)and yesterday he got his learners permit!!He was SO nervous!Of course,dad let him drive home lol.

And since Thanksgiving is almost here,(yay!!!)we are going to my grandpas house on wednesday!I can't wait =)I will get to see my Uncle pat and some cousins too while we're there.Of course we will have to bring the new puppy,(I didn't tell you we got him yet did i??)His name's Cledus.I know,really redneck,my daddy thought of it :)

Any way,where was I?Oh ya,Blaines permit =) He can only drive if there is an adult in the car,and if he wants to leave the state,there has to be an adult in the car,it has to be the adultscar that he's driving,and the adult has to have at least 5 years of experience.I'm so happy for him!

7 days in a dress challenge day 1

Have you ever had a huge mess when your out somewhere?Or are we the only ones that this happens to like every time we go to the store?lol.Any way,around 4:00 me,Faith,Stephanieand my Dad,went to wal mart.We went to go get the girls some new tennis shoes,(they needed them pretty bed :)and after that we went over to the grocery section.We had only gotten a few things,and we realized that Stephanie had been really quiet for a while.Me and my dad asked her a few times if something was wrong,but she would just say,"No,i'm fine."We get into isle 3,and she says,"Daddy,can we leave now?"
"What was that sweetie?
"BLAAAAHHH!"
Needless to say,isle 3 needed some cleaning!She,uh,yammied,all over herself,the cart,and the floor :("Kaity,go get someone to clean this please!"
So I ran to the registers,and asked a cashier if there was someone that could come clean up isle three.
"Becky,"he said,motioning for another worker.
"Ya?"
"Can you get someone to clean up isle three for her?"
"Is it wet?"She asked curiously
"Um yes very,my sister kind of....."
"Oh ok."she said with a laugh
So that's why I don't have those pictures taken and up yet.Sigh :(
Mark my words,THEY WILL BE UP TOMMOROW!!

I feel like i'm the worst person ever!I haven't blogged at all for like a month,and I said that I was going to do the seven days in a dress challenge,and never did.I kind of sicken myself lol .I feel like I have been really lazy about my blog lately and I am absolutely DETERMINED to start blogging a lot more.Like a ton more :).I have still been reading blogs and everything,just not doing a whole lot with mine.So tommorow,(i really mean it this time)I am going to do the challenge.Please pray for me that I will be better with my bloggin'!:)

Me and my family have been sick for a while.It's sort of like this exhausting cold.Headaches from congestion,pain in practically your whole face from your nose being clogged,you know,stuff that makes you feel like your dieing.....: ( It's pretty awful.I wasn't that bad for a while,until this morning.I woke up,got out of my bed,and just from standing I was really dizzy.But,I still managed to do school.My mom and my brother have felt this way for weeks,but I'm just now getting the bad part.I hope we all get feeling better soon!

Nature Walk

A few days ago,we went on a little nature walk for school,in the woods!It was a lot of fun,and it was nice and chilly because it was only like 7:30 in the morning....:) I love it when it's cold out.And then when we got home,we had to draw pictures of some of the leaves and flowers and stuff that we picked.

God always seems to send what we need at the perfect time.Like this morning.....
One of our neighbors came to the door,and asked to see my mom.

"Someone came to my house and gave this to my husband and asked if we would give it to you."She said handing my mom an envelope."They said they wanted to stay anonymous."

"Oh,thank you."My mom said curiously.

She opened the envelope,and there was a slip of paper inside with John 3:16 printed on it.And behind that,100 dollars!

It was just so awesome,because my mom had just been thinking a few minutes before the doorbell rang that we might not be going to be able to go to the Maize Maze tommorow.But now we can!!She was in tears....:)Not because we are able to go,but because God works in such amazing ways.I thought this was something worth posting about ;)

Interesting Rabbit Adventure

This morning,Faith,Stephanie,and Rebekah were out in the front yard.All of a sudden,Faith runs in and yells,"There's something under the bushes!!"So me and Blaine run out there,and there's a poor dead rabbit under the bushes!One of the cats must have caught it(they can be really piggish,they eat constantly.)So I make Blaine put it in a bag and I threw it away.I didn't even WANT to get pictures of it!It was really gross,and I didn't want anyone to get sick :D.

Sorry for not posting in a while,but I haven't been able to get on the computer much.And not much has happened any way.But,we might be going to the Renaissance Festival in November!We went once when I was little,but I don't remember it.And we are also going to the Maize maze next Thursday.The Maize Maze a big maze that you have to walk through,and it's in the middle of a big cornfield!And if you start to get lost,there are 12 mail boxes throughout the maze,and each one has a puzzle piece in it.Once you find all the pieces,it makes a map of the maze,so you can find your way out!Isn't that cool!?I will make sure to get lots of pictures!

Oh ya,and if there is something special you would like me to post about,then you can just leave a comment and tell me.;)

We are starting school on Monday!!!I am really excited about the history we are going to use this year.We went to walmart today to get folders,colored pencils crayons,ect.Mom has been working on a schedule a lot today,(with as many kids as there are here,we definetly need one!)I will admit,I don't want to have to start waking up at 6 in the morning again!But I hope this school year goes smoothly.:)

Air Force Museum

While we were in Ohio,we went to the Air Force Museum.It was a lot of fun,and I liked it most when we got to see the space ships.

We just got back from Ohio!We stayed with our grandparents,but we had to go see Aunt Dana of course.She has two horses,and this white one has blue eyes.But we had to ride the brown one,the white one was sick.The little kids had a lot of fun.I rode too,but didn't really want the pictures of me on here...... : )

Me and my mom found this website called www.soapylove.com and they have the cutest idea!They have something called soapsicles.It is soap on a stick,and they have awesome designs inside the soap!So cute!They have other things too,but I think these are the best.We make soap too,and I guess we aren't that bad.If I get the camera to work I will try to get pictures.: )

My older brother Blaine is in Maryland with his dad all summer,and we all miss him very much.I am going to try to get a picture of him on here.We don't have that many,so it could be hard!:)He was on an RV trip with his grandparents and stepmother in Pennsylvania for a few days,and just got back to his dads house.He said he had a lot of fun.They are going to go to the beach some time.We can't wait for him to come home.

Joey was trying to take pictures with mom's digital,(the camera that I use!!!)and he dropped it on the hardwood!Now half the screen is just fuzz and the other half is normal.He really wasn't supposed to be taking pictures with it.So now I can't really take pictures until we get a new one!It is probably going to take a little while.But,if you read this post,please leave a comment if you know what to do.Thanks!!!

My sister Faith,has recently learned how to ride a bike.She has a little friend that lives across the street from us.She has a bike and was letting Faith ride hers until she could get one.I think it was about a week ago,my dad went to walmart and bought her the cutest little bike!We had gone to walmart once,and she had picked out the bike she liked the most,so I told dad what one it was.Mind you,Faith was over her friends house when dad went,so she had no idea!When he got back he told me to go over and get her while he got the bike out of the truck.She was so surprised!She just couldn't believe it.She started riding it right away.That is all she wants to do now,she goes over to get her friend first thing and they ride up and down the rode for the longest time.She rides even more now that school is out.But the pictures will be up!
